How to Commission an Original Painting

Illustrated below are examples of original paintings commissioned through Lakeland Art Gallery

Most of the Artists whose originals we display on the website or in the Gallery are delighted to accept commissions. It is a very straightforward process.

All you have to do is decide the following:-

Subject
  • For example, a favourite view, your house or a holiday home.
  • Provide an image of the view
  • details of the location and/or map reference
  • What season you would like depicted, Spring, Autumn, Winter?
Media
  • Do you prefer oil paintings or watercolours ?
Artist
  • Which artist is your favourite?
Size
  • What size of Painting (including the Frame) are you looking for?
Frame
  • What type of Frame? Do you prefer Gilt, Dark Wood, etc
